Mixed bag in truth. This is genuinely one of my favourite locations on the planet and I have travelled a fair bit! Relaxing, therapeutic and scenic. Far, far away from the everyday rush of life! Whitebridge is the one. My kids loved every second of our recent adventure. The latest premier lodge I stayed in needed some TLC but overall did the job well enough. I won't go into finite detail like many have but I do hope the management see this as a another hint and do something about some of the touches that make this location and site special! There is clear need for a refresh following the latest visit, 7 years after the first! I will be returning and hope to see reception open when they say they will be. Loch Ness, Foyers Falls, Nevis Range, Three sisters, Ness Island (city), Cairngorms mountain railway and Urghart Castle are an absolute must if you stay in and around this location... truly stunning last week at 16 degrees average and full sun mon-fri. Word of advice, if you stay in such a remote location, then do your homework and plan accordingly as cellular reception, wifi and even local shops are not as convenient as they are in city life See you next year and good luck Wildside Lodge.
