Fijn restaurant met vriendelijk personeel; we kwamen hier voor lunch nadat we drijfnat waren geregend op de fiets. Heerlijk kunnen opdrogen bij de open haard . Goede soep + prima vegan burger + chips. Herboren weer op de fiets geklommen! (Translated by Google) Fine restaurant with friendly staff; we came here for lunch after getting soaking wet on the bike. Lovely to dry off by the fireplace. Good soup + excellent vegan burger + chips. Reborn again climbed on the bike!

My grandad drank himself to death in this pub. He was good friends with a previous owner who used to let him drive home to Inverness drunk. The man was not the nicest person but I can say he was a breeze compared to the people who have it now. Mrs De Silva is extremely rude and wants people to ask her permission for family's to be able to camp in the dores area. From whom Iv found out that the car park is owned by the pub/ both car parks. No just one, both. This was unknown to me although I have been visiting the beach for more than 30 years. Iv always thought the second car park was public. Now because of this, Mrs De silva thinks she owns the beach and surrounding area as well. The owners are some of the most rude people Iv had the pleasure of meeting. Dores is a beautiful place but if your not a customer at the pub your not welcome apparently. The management of the pub is a total letdown to the area in an other wise amazing location. Stopping family's camping and encouraging the likes of teenager who get dropped off in there car park and who are responsible for leaving mess and lighting fires that have layed waste to the area. Makes me wonder if it's on purpose so they can make the car park for customers only.
