A couple of earlier reviews need correcting especially including that from our Ukrainian friend. I dont think that's the lifeboat station they are referring to but the Clansman pier where tours are operated by Jacobite. Loch Ness RNLI Station is very inaccessible and is behind a 6 foot steel palisade fence. It is not signposted and is not visible as you drive past. There is nothing in any tourism information or on the RNLI website suggesting that the station can be visited.

  • (Translated by Google) On 05/15/2017 in the morning I drove with my wife to the territory of the boat station and parked behind the bus that brings tourists here near the first pier. We went down to the pier to ask someone how you can ride a boat on the lake, a minute later an elderly man jumped out, ran up to the car and struck several blows on the glass, seeing me walking towards him, ran up to me at the distance of striking and began to wave at me shouting hysterically in front of the face with hands and in obscene form that this is a private territory, at the entrance there are inscriptions about this, and also constantly using the word "fuc ..." said that we would get out. Unfortunately we didn't get to ride the boat. Perhaps this place is not intended for private visits, but only as part of a group. In general, be careful and take care of yourself :) (Original) 15/05/2017 . - , , , , , , "fuc..." . . , . :)
