I have been seeing James since January 2018 (over 2 years) after a neighbour highly recommended him. I was 44 and in need of a knee replacement but unable to have one as I'm too young. I was on pain killers, gaining weight and in chronic pain preventing me from enjoying the outdoors and then I met James! He really listens and invests his time and knowledge to you as a whole. I started doing strengthening exercises with him and within a short period of time was able to walk for a couple of hours without pain and stopped waking up in the night needing pain killers. You need to work with him and it definitely made a difference seeing him twice a week if you can. I have been up Ben Nevis, hiked for two weeks in the Italian alps last September and am feeling stronger than ever. He is definitely the "go to' man. I have recently got to know his wife Katie who also invests a lot of time and energy into helping people with their fitness and personal goals. I am just coming to the end of a 6 week challenge led by Katie for a group of us. We have all lost a few cm's and lbs and are feeling stronger mentally and physically. Katie used an app for some workouts which didn't take hours and you could do at home. It was so well thought out taking in all the considerations of people working and having families to work around. we tracked our meals which was very straight forward and given goals re protein and fibre intake. Many of us learnt so much and are changing old habits with great results. katie and James truly are compassionate, non judgemental, honest and genuine people with the experience and knowledge to help anyone who is living with pain or has a big event coming up and needs help training or wants to lose weight, improve fitness or general wellbeing. I continue to see James or Katie every week and will do for the rest of my life if possible. Words can't recommend them enough.

I have been going to see James for over 18 months, he has not only trained me to feel more toned but he has been there to help me feel stronger in body and mind. As a big girl I have never stuck to anything exercise wise, but with James it's not just exercise it's how you feel after and don't feel uncomfortable doing the exercises in front of him. I am not ashamed to say either,I was on antidepressants before I started working with James, I have now been off my antidepressants for over a year. I do feel it's because I have built confidence in who I am and how I feel with the help of James!! All I will say is if your a big girl please don't shy away...go and see James.
