We (Family of 5 adults, a child of 9yrs & a creamy Welch born Retriever 11 months young) have come for 3 days stay to Inverness, within an overall "Road Trip from London" via Bolton, Edinburgh, Inverness, Isle of Lewis & return via Isle of Sky. When our son & his wife were shortlisting possible places to stay in Inverness, *Parkside cottage* - an independent well equiped cottage was selected, after a careful consideration of various parameters. Our happiness knew no bound when we reached Inverness minutes before Sunset (10:05pm). And, oh Boy!, what a homely place this has been, so much, quite frankly we don't feel going out at all, amidst bright Sunshine. We endorse 100%, all the notes written by Marc in his Review below.

We recently completed a family holiday at Parkside cottage. Fabulous accommodation which has been tastefully decorated and to a high standard. Spacious open plan living space downstairs with three lovely bedrooms upstairs. Private parking and good garden space to enjoy. Ideally located for guests to explore Caledonian canal and Inverness. Food at "An Talla" was absolutely delicious and staff at Parkside couldn't have been more helpful before; during and after our stay!! We will definitely be back!!

We have just returned from our best ever week -long June 25-July 2nd #ScottishStaycation . We were blessed with warm sunshine and have returned home having enjoyed wonderful highland hospitality plenty of chilling out in the comfort of this beautifully furnished, very well equipped and extremely comfortable cottage. It was by far the best value for money self catering property we have ever stayed in and we could not fault it! As a family of 5 ,( 2 Adults & 3 teenagers 13-17 ) plus with a 20wk old puppy on his first holiday it was important that the cottage was not only in an ideal location ( just 4 miles from Inverness city centre) but it also gave us the space we needed, including enclosed garden and plenty of other easy access options to explore & relax which it did. These included being able to explore the many beaches in the area, enjoy lots of great food and Highland Hospitality in and around the Inverness area. Lochness, Rosemarkie ,Nairn, Cawdor Dores Having the option to nip across on foot to AnTalla for a light bite to eat ,coffee and ice cream during the day and direct access onto the Caledonian canal pathway for leisurely walk, run or cycle or simply to sit and watch the boats come and go through the lock and the passengers get on and off the Jacobite boats was a bonus too. A blast on the Loch in the Wee Beastie is a must do too! Thank you to everyone at Lochness by Jacobite for making our stay just perfect , we have all said we would definitely return for future stays and will certainly be recommending the cottage to our friends and family.
