Update April 2023 So we have been coming to Ivy Cottage every year since 2017, excluding 2020 for obvious reasons. It has been amazing watching the transformation of the Castle and the estate. There has been so much investment, not just financial by the owners, but also in passion by all those involved. The estate is looking fantastic, I can't wait to see it once completed. ------------------------ We stayed in Ivy Cottage for a long weekend. The cottage is beautiful and very tastefully decorated. It is cosy and has a homely feel to it. It is only 7 miles from Inverness, do provides a great base to explore the area, especially with National Cycle Route 78 passing directly Infront of the cottage, so you can even cycle into the city. The 2 bedrooms are a good size, each having access to a bath and a toilet. This gives a bit of privacy when sharing with another couple. There are walks near by, to the Castle and Loch Ness, which is ideal if you take your dog along.
