Doug and Sheena are perfect hosts. The views from the cottage are amazing, the cottage is really well thought out and the kitchen has an excellent range of gear. It is the little touches like the bowl of fruit, milk in the fridge and flowers in the vase that make it special. They even popped round with a card and bubbly for our pearl anniversary. There is a great range of books to read and they are very knowledgeable about the local wildlife. We hope to be back. It would be a great place for family and friends who want to be together but enjoy a bit of their own space as the cottages all open to the courtyard if you want to use that door. They're also set up for wheelchairs. So go on book a holiday here, but leave a space so we can come back. I gave it 4* for location as the views are perfect, it's so peaceful but you can't nip down to the shops but the shops are well stocked so you just need to plan! Oh and the WiFi is good too. Thank you Doug and Sheena for making our wedding anniversary just Fab!
