Beautiful place. In the middle of the Highlands nature, about 20 mins away from LochNess, Urquhart castle (Drumnadrochit) and Inverness. The sorrounding are very peaceful and suggestive. Sheeps, bright green fields and pines forests are what you are going to dive into. On top of the beauty of the place, the householders are incredibly sweet and caring people, paying all the attentions you need and even more. A place to visit again, absolutely. Foxhole because once upon a time foxes population was very large.

Fiona and Colin make you feel welcome as soon as you arrive. They are genuinely friendly and helpful. Set in a rural location, it is very peaceful here but only a short drive to Inverness. The bedroom was very clean, tidy and fresh. Plenty of wardrobe and drawer space for clothes. The bed is very comfortable I am fussy and do not normally sleep well in a strange bed so this was a bonus as I had a lovely sleep each night. There is a kettle for tea and coffee but you are welcome to use the kitchen and have fresh milk instead of using the little cartons of milk in the bedroom. The en-suite shower room was very clean, modern and spacious. The lounge was very comfortable with plenty of seating. Breakfast is a mix of cereals, toast, ham, cheese, fruit and tea/coffee. You just help yourself without the need to be prim and proper first thing in the morning. It is very relaxed and informal. Colin and Fiona are great hosts with knowledge of places to dine and visit both locally and further afield. Fantastic value for money. We will stay again when visiting Scotland.
