We booked here for our honeymoon, paid in full months before and was really looking forward to our time here together as a family. Due to Covid-19 we have, not only had to cancel the wedding, but the honeymoon to. Contacted the lodges directly to ask some advice about cancellation. The chap I spoke to said it was all down to booking.com, whom I then contacted to cancel. I took it up with booking.com about losing half of our money and was told it was down to the owner at the lodges, whom I previously spoke to. A few emails of correspondence later and still we have lost half of the money we paid, as the owner wont give a refund, on top of lying to me on the phone. Now dont get me wrong if it was through a fault of our own then yes, so be it, but due to this outbreak this is not our fault and would think that a business such as theirs would have insurance and a contingency plan in place? It seem a bit shady to me, and I will definitely will not be using this business again and would not recommend it, in fact I would advise that you stay away from this place. It's a shame as it does look fantastic there.

Weve not actually been to this place yet. But we had got a booking for a few weeks time. We live in the Midlands, we have two drivers who were going to take it in turns as we travelled through Scotland until we actually got to Drumnadrochit Lodges. Obviously, weve now had to cancel. We are really upset about having to do it, but three out of four of us have underlying conditions, plus the government advice. I contacted the Lodges directly asking if they could keep our deposit towards another stay with them in the future. They point blank said no. Fortunately, the other places we were staying at on our travels around Scotland have either refunded us, not charged us or moved a deposit for a later date. Really Disappointed with Mr Spences decision, And he can rest assured we will not be rebooking with him at any point in the future! We thank him for nothing
