Fabulous squeaky clean accomodation. You get welcomed like a relative they are excited to have visit. And they are anxious to help you solve and smooth any bumps in the road you may anticipate in your next few days of travel. I watched them help an elderly gentleman ( older than me, in other words!) organize his itinerary, going to incredible lengths, using all their local knowledge and network of contacts, so he was able to proceed with his travels for the next few days. Absolutely top rate. And, the guest was a fairly difficult guest to start with! Just because he was tired, anxious, and not sure how to smooth out his itinerary. Out of 5, this would rate as a 6 or 7, at the minimum. And I think this level of service is a standard, not the exception. We have visited twice, and will make our way to this special corner of the Scottish Highlands again, I hope.
