Balachladaich B&B Loch Ness

After booking a room at Balachladaich for business I realised Balachladaich offered a continental breakfast only. I called the owner, Fiona, to see if Balachladaich would make an exception for my dietary requirements. Fiona said she had never heard of my dietary restrictions and she would not accommodate them. I have a paleo and non milk product diet. She abruptly stated that the website states that they offer a continental breakfast only. 2-hours after I made the advanced booking for my stay she said that I would not get a full refund owing to the loss of custom to my booking. This is ridiculous as I had made the booking for only 2 hours and two days before my stay. There is no reason that this booking would impact further/future bookings at Balachladaich and I feel they robbed my of 20 for no reason. Fiona's communication with me was intimidating and she came across as a bully telling me I was wrong and stupid. I would not recommend staying here.
