Polmaily house Bed and Breakfast

We havent stayed here or been in the house so cant comment. We come to use the swimming pool with our son. The grounds and house is lovely great setting for a wedding or event The owners are lovely and friendly nothing is a problem for them. The pool is warm The changing area could do with upgrading tho as its just a curtain rail and the toilets are set outside so they are very cold if u need the loo when you in swimming. Last time we arrived the pool looked dirty with bits floating in it and it was ruff around the edges my son scratched his leg. One of the steps to get in and out is loose wonky so doesnt feel safe i slipped. The pool is very shallow 1metre which is fine for kids and people learning to swim. Could do with a good deep clean and a updating. Theres plenty toys and inflatables to use at your own leisure tho which is good and you get the pool to yourselves which is good. I dont like complaining but i thought yous would like to know the feedback. I hope to come back here in the future when its maybe been updated Thanks again tho

Perfect! A group of us stayed with Chris and Deb for a weekend of golf and skiing. The house has everything you need to have a comfortable stay, and relax after days out doing activities. Just an hours drive to Aviemore for skiing and 20mins to a nearby golf course. Great hiking trails straight from the house too. Couldnt recommend enough!

We booked Polmaily for our wedding weekend in August and had the most incredible experience. From the start, we loved Chris and Deb's friendly nature and knew it would be a great fit. The house is a perfect venue for a small (or large) wedding - we hired a marquee to accommodate 110 guests and had close family/friends stay in the house with the rest of the guests stay nearby. The house has everything you would need to make your guests feel at ease and feel at home! We really appreciated having them on-site, Chris even stopped by to help us set up a fire and smores on the Sunday after our wedding and really appreciated the extra effort. Our guests loved the laid-back nature of the venue and having all of the amenities on site is really such an amazing bonus. We'd recommend the venue to anyone albeit for a wedding, family reunion, trip with friends etc. The weekend couldn't have gone better so a very special thank you to Chris and Deb!!
