If you are looking to explore the Highlands, this is a great campsite but children are not really welcome, they do warn you of all the rules before you book, they are not allowed in the play area unsupervised and you have to walk them to the toilet if under 12. The toilets/showers are a little tired but very clean. Very peaceful setting, short walk to the village.

Stayed here multiple times and always had a nice stay. Beautiful, well appointed site just outside of Braemar. Walk into the village only takes 10mins at a slow donder with a good few places to eat and shop. The site is very dog friendly with a woodland walk around the outside where they can walk off the lead. On-site lead only which is pretty much the same for every site weve been to. Always had a warm welcome with checkin a piece of cake. There is a small shop too in the reception with some essentials. There are two toilet/shower blocks and a easily accessed service point for even the biggest of motorhomes. The whole site is immaculate and each pitch is a good size. Some nice walks to the local countryside just opposite the main gate so perfect for a chill out stay or if you want to explore further afield.
