        The best pub in the shire!! Amazing home made food, friendly staff ,great atmosphere. The owner goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome. Absolutely love it and highly recommend!!

        This was one of the best pubs I visited while in Scotland !!!! The owner Michelle is amazing !!! They have great fish and chips , a great pool table , karaoke machine but most of all the sweetest funnest staff ever Darin was a kind attentive bar tender and Julie was a fun great cook !!!! You are lucky if you get to stumble apon this charming little town and pub .

        Great place if you enjoy frozen food, having your songs skipped on the dukebox, hearing the owner get drunk and complain about her husband, getting punched by the owners friends and barred for your trouble...

        Food was lovely, we got steak and ale pie which was enjoyable, the cheese and bacon burger was a little over done. The fries were yummy as the other reviews say. The highlight was the chilli con carne on the nachos it was delicious. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The food took a little while to come out considering we were the only customers but overall a lovely little meal
