Braemar Health Centre

Dr Cruikshank helped save my husband's life 5 yrs ago whilst we were staying in a motorhome in Braemar. He turned out late at night and worked with the paramedics, even having a drip when they hadn't. When we returned from hospital a month later he supported us with Steve's rehab until fit enough to move on. Can't say enough good things about this lovely chap. Thank you from me and Steve.

I cannot thank Dr Cruickshank & his staff enough for the care they have shown my husband whilst visiting the area this week. How lucky to be able to see a real live Gp. We don't get that down in Lincolnshire. Thank you for everything. What a cracking service for this area.

The Braemar Clinic is a small rural health centre with a very dedicated doctor who has been in attendance for two generations. His commitment to his patients is second to none and I am perplexed at the ridiculous review posted by VW. My family - aged parents were looked after until the end of their lives by the very professional care of Dr C and likewise he has cared for the residents of the village in the same caring way. There may not be an appointment system but one never has to wait for more than a short time to see the doctor. I recommend the health centre for all and I'm sure that VW will not be missed at all!

Excellent. With the experiences I've had they can't be faulted and I honestly can't see where some of the bad reviews have come from. Over recent days both doctors have had to come to me as a house call numerous times and their attention to detail and prompt attendance was amazing. They even we went as far as to phone me at nights to check how I was before it got late. We also have a newborn and they've been great when we've had to phone them at all hours if the day. I also attended the drop in surgeries and think they work so well instead of just an appointment service. For once if you have an unscheduled illness you can immediately see a doctor when you need. Absolutely great on all counts and a level of service that you don't often get

Am surprised to see the visitors to our village find so much issue with our doctor. The Braemar doctor (and clinic) may not fit the mold of the city based practices you are accustomed, but I can assure you a more willing helpful doctor you will not find, at any time of the day or night. Dr. Cruickshank is valued within our community as an experienced and dedicated health professional.
