We booked last minute & due to the Aboyne Highland show taking place the site was at full capacity so we had to make do on the grass amongst the tents. Very cramped & a lack of privacy. We were also beside the path to the loos so had people walking past our motorhome constantly. Families with young children were inevitably running about to the point we had a football constantly thrown in our van's direction. The site is lovely & well kept & location is stunning. Very friendly villagers & The Commercial Arms is very welcoming with a lovely beer garden. Advice to caravaners & motorhomers is book ahead & get a hard standing pitch.
