The very much closed up hunting lodge on the Balmoral Estate. We park the car and took a slow lap of Loch Muick was took around 3hrs. It would be good to see inside however all of the shutters are closed. The path of the northern side of the lock was a lot easier and well made

The perfect place to stop if walking round the loch is the old hunting lodge used by Victoria which sits at the base of the impressive Alt Shiel waterfall further up the glen. A solid victorian hunting lodge now lies empty amongst the pine trees which is a great place for a picnic and a cooldown by the lochs edge
