We came in here for icecreams on a very pleasant spring afternoon. All 3 of my kids had cones with various flavours of icecream - mint choc chip, biscoff and tablet. There was so much choice, there's a choice of sweetie bags too and a pick n mix selection. The guy serving was friendly and helpful

I don't know what all the bad reviews are on about, my friends and I came from a hiking trip and tried nearly all the icecream on the menu and they were all delicious

Abysmal, dire, poor, atrocious, awful, disgraceful, dreadful, horrible, grim and lastly unauthentic. All suitable words to describe the supposed traditional and authentic Scottish Tablet being sold from this establishment. The tablet is not authentic in anyway, the texture is closer to a poor quality fudge and the taste is even more disappointing, bitter is the best description, not tooth achingly sweet with a feeling of indulgence as tablet should be. As a Scot I feel sincere pity for the poor unsuspecting foreign tourists buying this inferior and deeply disappointing tablet imitation. The ice cream? Not any better. Extremely poor quality, worse than cheap supermarket efforts. So what could make this experience even worse? Being ripped off for the privilege of experiencing this disappointment. 17 in total for two cones with two small scoops of ice cream and a bar of tablet. 4.50 for each cone with two scoops and 8 for the bar of tablet (something often sold for a couple of pounds for a good sized bar across the whole of scotland due to its cheap ingredients). Even if the products were good i would have thought this to be a bit expensive but for the level of quality on offer here the only phrase to describe it is RIP OFF. No one running a business in this manner is looking to do anything other than take advantage of unsuspecting tourists.
