Nice site in a convenient location, the site has 1 main area full of caravans and a small tent pitch then a wee bit hidden away by the river for more caravans and a larger tent pitch. We stayed in the hidden away area for 2 nights in a tent... The pitches were level and were not overgrown or insanely rocky, the electricity situation is a bit daft but you have to pay a 10 deposit (this is refundable) and top it up as required... any left over electricity is supposed to be refunded once you hand the card back but after 10 attempts to get the meter to do it and it saying "success" I had to leave the site without my credit refunded back to me... The "hidden" area has its own SINGLE toilet and shower, now I say its hidden because the staff dont know its there because it was filthy, there were no sanitary bins, no toilet paper for the 2 nights we were there and half the time there was a queue, I dread to think how bad it would've been on a packed pitch, the use of the main block is of course available but it'd literally take you 5 minutes to walk there and forget that in the dead of night!, we actually saw people driving to the main shower block to avoid using our 1... Over all a nice site but needs ALOT of improvements
