I recently stayed for 5 nights at Dun Aluinn in the Scottish Highlands, and I can't recommend this place highly enough. The stunning location, beautiful property, and luxurious amenities all exceeded my expectations. Also the butler Martin was extremely helpful. From the moment we arrived, Martin went out of his way to make us feel welcome and comfortable. He was always available to assist with anything we needed. The food was outstanding, with locally sourced ingredients prepared to perfection. The property was beautifully designed and decorated, with every detail carefully considered. Our room was spacious and well-appointed, with a comfortable bed and all the amenities we needed. Overall, I would highly recommend Dun Aluinn to anyone looking for a luxurious and unforgettable stay in the Scottish Highlands.

Had a wonderful time with family and friends. The property and grounds are immaculate and stylish enjoying a great postion on the edge of town with awesome views of the munros. The service staff for our catering from Ballintaggart were exceptional and the food delicious using local ingredients. A special mention though to Martin the butler. Who welcomed us and looked after us throughout the stay. Nothing was too much trouble. He anticipated everything we could possibly need and is a friendly presence around the place.everyone in our group loved him !!! His recommendations of things to do in the area were spot on. Anyway, thanks again Dun Aliunn and the team. Thanks Martin. We will be back as soon as we can !!!

Our wedding at Dun Aluinn was disappointing. They say it's "not a wedding venue", but in a way that suggests it's exclusive. In actual fact they don't know what they are doing. Communication was none existent to poor and many aspects of the service promised were not present during our wedding, including master of ceremony! My wife was crying on the lead up (and not because she was marrying me) but because of their terrible communication. The house itself is amazing, but they where not organised and we where left disappointed. We where forced to pay for portaloos which were horrible. Our music was ruined by the staff desperately turning it off at 10pm. They tried to charge us extra for coffees. They told us there was no power, but there was. The hot tub takes ages to warm up, which is fine, but we had to push to use it. All in all our wedding was great, thanks to the people who attended, and a lovely house to stay in, but I would not recommend anyone gets married there.

5 Star luxury in a house that you won't want to leave! We spent a long Autumn weekend at Dun Aluinn with friends recently, celebrating a special birthday and loved every minute of our stay. The staff could not have done more to make us feel welcome & at home in this beautifully designed house. Highlight for us were coming back from our hikes around Lough Tay to amazing food and relaxing & chatting around the roaring log fires. Couldn't recommend it highly enough and would love to go back again sometime. Thanks for a truly memorable weekend! John & Siobhan
