If I could give 0 stars I would! This is an absolutely abysmal builder - the aftercare team is horrendous. No response to emails time and time again to fix faults and issues that were reported at time of moving in and over the course of the first few weeks of living there. En suite is unusable due to a leak which has now damaged the kitchen ceiling, walls not straight and poor finishing throughout. Have chased up customer care numerous times just to be ignored or to be told someone would come out to inspect Have wasted time waiting in for repairs to be completed with no one turning up without any forewarning.

Disgraceful post sales. Your snagging wont get done, your emails will be ignored. In my experience they take your money, build a poor quality house then give you less then satisfactory after sales care! I would never recommend Muir Homes. You end up spending (what should be unnecessary additional money) on a new build to make it a home! Visit the Grange in Laurencekirk before you purchase and look at the state of the pavements and roads alone, all still under Muir ownership then visit Chapelton and you will see how a house should be built and communal areas should be cared for by house builders that actually care about their name and reputation!

Poor after care. They don't respond to customer care emails. When you do eventually hunt down and speak to a contact, they will contradict previous communications. Ignore agreed plans and rectify faults (if they ever do it at all) in the easiest/quickest way possible, wasting time and resources, since they end up having to do it again as agreed. Careless workmanship, with dents, chips and scratches on everything.

The sales team were fantastic - friendly, helpful and kept me updated throughout the process. The after sales team have also been very good and have been on hand to help with any queries/issues.
