Teacake

Went in for coffee Sat 14 about 3 o'clock and were told there were no tables available although there at least 4 tables uncleared. Asked if the tables were reserved and the reply was no they were just not cleared and no attempt was made to accommodate us - so just left and took our custom elsewhere!!

Popped in for a quick bowl of soup the other week and it was brilliant! Just what I needed on a cold day. Lovely and fresh with an ample helping of bread. Service was great and atmosphere was welcoming.

Twice my family and I have tried to come here for coffee/lunch and its been unsuccessful. There were 5 tables all reserved and no free tables available for walk ins. There was no attempt to accommodate us which was really disappointing. The waiter made us feel really awkward and wouldnt serve us at the sofa strange Its a shame because Ive read the reviews and the food looks really good but its unlikely we will try again considering its been twice.

Unbelievable experience, food was out of this world, hidden gem, more and more people need to get to teacake and enjoy a bistro evening, can not say enough good words, they have a customer for life !! Tremendous
