Nice venue and atmosphere and good selection of drinks, however the staff are pushy and quite rude. Was told we had to leave the table in 20 minutes and then asked if we wanted to order more drinks as 20 minutes while he plenty time to drink it. No sorry I wont be rushed to drink then ushered out so that you can get more money of out of me. Very sad as its a lovey place and whilst we didnt have anything to eat the platters looked lovely, although pricey.

Grape and grain is probably the nicest bar in aberdeen, we are always treated so well. The service is the best I have ever received in aberdeen. All staff are lovely but Leah and mehdi go out of their way to make our experience superb. They are super attentive and really friendly. Love it

Second time being back there, first time they got the wrong drinks twice then we gave up. Yeah it's nice, yeah it's fancy, yeah it's expensive, it's exactly what you want for your Instagram feed... But there is a constant pressure to buy something, waiters always popping up to see if you want to order more even if you haven't finished your drink. We had no reservation and we saw a booth empty we said we want to stay there, took a lot of back and forth with the waiter to go and check with the manager if we can have the table for a hour... Maybe... We said no maybe either yes or no , then, they said for 1 hour and half maybe, we said no again, looked like if someone else would have made a booking they would have us get up from the table. We said no again finally they said you have the table for two hours. Felt like they were doing me a favor on my money as a customer. Not going back there again.

Went for my pals birthday. Went to bar. Waiter with brown hair, beard, was washing cocktail shakers continued to and said Ill be with you soon and continued to wash cocktail shakers (youd expect customers be priority) my friend whos birthday it was asked for a margarita but not a premixed one as she prefers ones made from scratch (we are both bartenders) and he sighed and huffed and basically said fine. Then she said is it with sugar or salt and he said Ill do salt even though she wanted sugar. He was being very dismissive to all of our party and acted like he couldnt give a care in the world. Just a bit mad with the pricing they are that bothered about making a cocktail from scratch like youd expect.

Staff were very friendly. It's busy so definitely make a reservation. We did the wine flight and 2 person shared platter. The wine in the flight was okay, ordering outside of the flight was a better option. Keep in mind the 2 person platter is Big!
