Don't dare use Atlas as an agency if you have a pay as you go simcard or if you don't have a european adaptor(even if all oil rigs are riddled with USB ports). They view this as unacceptable behaviours but won't disclose this information until you find yourself stuck in a foreign country without means to get any food. Ironically they couldnt arrange a taxi between 4 different people and a travel company, then when you help them, they state that 300 euros will be deducted from your wages to pay for their ineptitudes. Most bizarre experience of my life. Completely unprofessional and disgusting disregard for the wellbeing of people within their "duty of care"... Upon working with other agencies, it is obvious that communication within an office isnt impossible but Atlas manage to make you believe that they each work in a different continent and don't even speak the same language. Don't be fooled by food allowance quotes either, if you miss the food window due to being stranded in an airport without a shuttle for over 4 hours, the food allowance is withdrawn and you should "ask one of your mates back home to order you an ubereats" (btw ubereats quotes as being active in Den Helder but nobody delivers after 10pm so this method doesn't actually work in reality, your order just gets delayed over and over till the restaurant closes and you get a refund) In their own words, going nearly 24 hours without food is "just part of working offshore" and "you should know what to expect" Perhaps they should foot that as a disclaimer before making you sign 5 different PDFs that dont seem to mention any of these imaginery pre-requisites even once. Avoid like the plague or be forced to spend 2 days in transit unpaid and without anything but a complementary raisin biscuit and a cup of orange juice from the airline (if you are lucky)
