Berryden Post Office

Dreadful customer service. Miserable, abrasive staff. Closing time states 6PM but they lock the door much earlier and refuse entry.

I came in to collect a parcel at 17:44 and the door was locked with a queue of 7 people inside. The guy didn't let anyone it, there were at least 3 other customers who were turned around. This branch always seems full, dirty, and poor management is most likely responsible for this horrible service. It is unacceptable to close a public service early, just because the employees want to be out the door at 6. No other reputable company ever closes early just so they get out in time, especially when people depend on their trade. I wish I would be able to avoid using their services and to get compensation for my wasted time.

It's always busy here (but that's a good thing!) and the staff are always very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable

I have visited the post office today to use my electricity scheme support what is provided by the government. The lady challenged my national photo ID card as a proof she didn't want to accept. She didn't listen me and my concerns she held her head between her hands and with totally red head talked with me in a really overwhelmed arrogant way. Serious lack of customer service! I went to an other post office and like always before they solved it without problem.
