        Our Dad was at Riverside for just a few short weeks before he passed away but, in those few weeks, we saw a level of care, kindness and compassion at every turn that was both remarkable and a real comfort to us all, particularly Mum who really struggled in that final period of his decline. The humanity and tenderness displayed by every member of staff to someone they had so little time to get to know and who could do so little and give so little back in his final days, speaks so highly of everyone at Riverside. His room was simple, with a lovely view, and provided all that he needed and he never wanted for anything. But what makes all the real difference were his carers - these people are five star and we were never anything other deeply impressed by the heart-warming affection that they universally displayed to both him and us. We cannot thank the team highly enough and are so pleased that we chose Riverside to make Dads final days so comfortable.
