I'm writing this review months late but I feel like this needs to be put out there. If I could give this place 0 stars I would. They ruined an engagement ring experience for both my fiance and I. First we over heard them talking badly about us on the phone. Even though we wrote an email to the shop and complain, there was no compensation. Then after receiving the ring we realized they gave us a damaged ring, in which the sapphire stone had a crack in it. When we went back to ask them to check, they tried to tell us was just a " discoloration" in the stone. It was only after we went to a totally different jewelry shop and got confirmation it was damaged, did Chisholm Hunter fix the ring. The whole experience was awful and I'm really questioning whether this company is legitimate or not after the damaged ring. I will most definitely never recommend this place to anyone or buy anything from this store again.

I would like to say a big thank you to the kind lady who helped me on Wednesday afternoon (Bon Accord Centre, Aberdeen). I came in with a bracelet I had just inherited after my Grandad passed away, it originally belonged to my Gran (who passed away over 25 years ago) and I came in looking to enquire about how I could restore the bracelet to it's former glory and mentioned I couldn't afford to fix it until I had been paid on Friday. The lady had a look at the bracelet, gave it a good polish and fixed the broken clasp and didn't expect a penny in return. I cannot thank her enough.
