This letting agency is absolutely horrible. All they care about is money, they couldnt care less about their tenants. The properties they are letting out are of a low standard with many maintenance problems. If there was an option to give less stars, I would.

I had a positive experience working with Winchesters as a tenant, and would recommend their services. I found other letting agents in my area to be tiresome and unresponsive. The Winchesters (website and the agents) were responsive and helpful at every stage of the process. Special thanks to Kerryn, and Chris (who coordinated some maintenance when our boiler malfunctioned- sorted it out ASAP).

Dont waste your time! My flatmate and I were two young professionals, who werent taken seriously by this selfish, money hungry agency at all. We took great care of the dump of a flat, that Winchester lettings deemed acceptable to put on the market in the first place. They couldnt care less about their tenants wellbeing, as long as the rent is paid in! And they have obviously taken on too much work, resulting in shocking customer service and lack of communication. We allowed their staff into our home using a spare key if we were at work, however on many occasions they would never tell us whether anybody had even entered the flat and fixed any of the issues, or their findings. Some problems, some of which took us months to resolve, or were point blank ignored! Are : An ANT INVESTATION which pest control deemed problematic because of an opening to outside, but nothing was ever done about it and it was then ignored until winter time when the ants went away. Black mould in every corner of the main bedroom, so after months of fighting to have this seen to as I suffer from respiratory issues they sent out their own specialist who told us that heating and ventilation wasnt the problem and that it was with the fan in the en-suite, but when challenged on this they said the opposite. They never fixed these issues but instead sent a copy and pasted info sheet on what condensation is, that told us to have our heating on from October until March - in this cost of living crisis??? Not to mention a broken boiler, a leaking shower resulting in damage to the whole bathroom, leaking toilet, countless cupboards breaking, washing machine being jammed. Such a stressful experience with a truly horrible agency.
