Took car down Thursday midday, didn't do diagnostics til Friday, quoted a price for repairs on friday Nothing heard on Saturday after saying he would get it back to me over weekend. Monday, not phoned I phoned Tuesday for him to say it was catalyst convertor after saying it was just needing a service. 5 days in nothing done, what a waste of time. Would not recommend. Took it to a proper garage. Other Garage did the work within 2 hours and nothing was said about converter, sorted all the problems I went in with, no trouble and price half what I was quoted. Lesson learnt go to a bigger company. Service: General repairs & maintenance

These people are professional scammers, they charged me for fixing something that didn't need fixing and even after requesting to fix the real problem, kept ignoring my requests. AVOID

During lockdown someone bumped into our car from the back and cracked the back bumper. As this was the closest garage, good reviews online and the repair was on amicable terms we decided to go to M&J Auto as that was the closest from where it happened. Mechanic said the bumper needs to be replaced and painted and it was what the person who bumped into us that paid for (he was a Deliveroo driver). Long and behold just had our MOT at another garage and he asked if the bumper had any damage as water is getting through the paint. You can see the damage coming thought the paint so they didn't change the whole bumper just painted it over and repaired the damage and charged for a new bumper and paint. Cost us integrity of our bumper and the poor delivery driver money. Now that needs to be fixed on our own money. Total scam and not what anyone wants during these difficult times.
