George Norval Guitar Teaching Practice

George has been teaching my son for over a year now. My son really enjoys his time with George and is coming on really well with his tuition . We would 100% recommend him of you are considering learning the guitar.

Went to George after a few years away from the guitar based on a recommendation from work. The first lessons we picked up on my existing knowledge and then George built a plan of what we wanted to achieve and how we would achieve it. It was clear from the lessons that planning had gone into them and we were never at a standstill. Any requests for tablature and music were done and ready for the next session and George would try and build it into the next session to make sure i could properly play the song i had requested. George has a great knowledge of the different playing styles and music and i would highly recommend him for tutoring.

I first began getting lessons from George when I was about 9 years old but ended up taking a break from learning to play guitar. I returned to George for music lessons about 4 years ago (Im now 29) and its the best decision Ive ever made. George is so patient with me and takes time to ensure I am carrying out techniques properly. I cant count how many times I have recommend George to others. People I know have also been to George for music lessons and they all praise him too. I really cant recommend him enough! You wont be disappointed if you choose George for music lessons. My son and daughter both received tutoring from George. Apart from the fact that the time given was at a high degree (just what you would expect) he took the time to find out what kind of music they were into and what they hoped to achieve with the lessons. This meant they could focus their interest and made the practice that was required more interesting. He is definitely in touch with all the techniques and has kept abreast of what is current with all age groups. He came highly recommended and did not fail to impress.
