Of all the guest houses and B&Bs Ive stayed at, this one is by far the worst of the bunch. The room at first glance is fine. But upon closer inspection the truth begins to reveal itself. There is mold in the shower, rust on the towel rack, the door to the bathroom was rusty and barely hanging on, the room was super dusty, and the beds themselves (box spring and mattress) had massive stains and were so old that theyre crazy uncomfortable. Not to mention that when we asked where we could do laundry, the owner offered to do it for us- which was great! However, once we got it back (10 hours later) more than half of our items were still very wet. When we asked if she could toss it back in to the dryer for a little more time, she got extremely defensive stating that one of her dryers was not working and it was costing her a fortune (which we were not previously informed of). She suggested we throw our clothes over the radiator in our room... This forced us to find a laundromat to finish drying our clothes. This was especially stressful since it was 9:30 at night and we need to pack to leave the next morning. Had this been communicated to us, we would have gone elsewhere for this service. Outside of that (and the reason for the second star) is that breakfast was hot, made to order and delicious. Save yourselves the headache and go somewhere thats been dusted in the last decade.

Deserves 5 stars - from cleanliness, to organization and friendliness of staff, together with a nice breakfast, what more is there to ask for. Amazing! Will be coming back, cheers

Charlie and Evelyn are super hosts, taking care of your every need. Very comfortable and clean. Start the day with a hearty cooked breakfast or something lighter. Great location for the city, the beach esplanade and beyond, being on one of the main bus routes, however, theres ample free parking if required. Recommended stay for whatever your occasion.
