I had by fibula bone removed here and it was a absolute disaster. I am from Perth it was an overnight stay and was told I could stay till my lift arrived which wouldn't be till after 4 o'clock this was all fine. 10. In the morning came and they tried putting me out I had a full metal brave on my leg I felt and looked an absolute mess I was struggling to walk. They were saying I could go and sit across the road at Costa coffee untill my lift arrived. I could barely move do I began getting ready to leave I was very upset and out of them all 1 nurse was like no we can't let her leave this is not right we reassured her it was fine to wait. Untill my lift arrived. After that I was treated like royalty. Cause they knew this was wrong my first op and it was bone cancer that was being removed there was no care what's so ever I will never go back to this hospital even if life depended on it. I felt like a total inconvenience. Oh and I also thought it was a small part being removed. So to wake up with a scar from side knee right down was also a shock.
