Went for my first check up since covid began, lovely friendly receptionists and my new dentist Elaine and her dental nurse were very patient with my anxiety , I wont say im looking forward to my next appointment but I certainly dont think i will be as nervous. Thank you all.

Adam Chiverton is the only dentist Ive ever trusted to look after my teeth!! Im a very nervous patient but Adam is really good at talking you through anything he is doing and ensuring you are comfortable and feeling ok. He is also really gentle with administering numbing injections so its a pain free experience if I need any work done. I always feel Ive had a really thorough check up. They are really transparent about costs for NHS vs private treatment and dont push you into spending money unnecessarily. Grandholm offers a wide variety of cosmetic treatments which are expensive like all private treatments are but its nice to know that the options are there. I think they have employed friendlier staff on the reception too cos theyre much nicer than they used to be Thank you Adam for being a brilliant dentist!!

I was with this dentist for 10 years and every time I went I had a different dentist. Turns out I was getting the trainees for the past 10 years! The unnecessary work I have had done and the complete incompetence of these dentists was never more clear than my first appointment after covid. I was devastated by the consultation- being told I need four teeth out immediately, anothercourse of gum treatment. The four to be removed? I was told I would have to look at implants as the only way to save my smile. This by a dentist who had been at Uni on an engineering course and rather than leave Uni, wanted to stay in education and so trained as a dentist! A complaint to the practice gave a response that I upset the dentist who treated me! Since found another practice and the consultation there was very, very different. God awful practice that will rinse you for every penny you have
