Went to pick up a DPD Parcel, was told it was not there even though DPD had proof of delivery. After lengthy calls with DPD they said it was scanned a 2nd time at the shop, went back to be told by the owner the just deliver it(DPD stated was scanned hours before they called me back) Owner was very rude when I went back in, saying mine & DPD's fault.

I had no problem collecting my parcel from Wilsons news agents. The elderly gent behind the counter was very nice and we even had a wee chat. All in all, a pleasant experience.

I thought part of the reason to shop in these family run convenience stores was that despite being more expensive than supermarkets you get a wholesome, friendly vibe and atmosphere that makes you want to come back. Not here. I don't think in all my time being a customer I've ever had an interaction this awkward and drawn out for no reason other than the owners attitude. Wasn't welcoming, seemed to want to do anything to get out of helping me and if I asked a question he didn't understand he would just stare and stare at me until I moved the conversation forward. All I came in to do was pick up a click and collect order with photograph ID in hand. I don't understand if you're the owner of the store and hate click and collect orders, don't want to help people and leave all your delivery boxes cluttered alllllllll over the shop - why have them? Why have a store?
