Before I booked my truck in for a service at Arnold Clark, Aberdeen, I had heard that they had a bad reputation regarding customer services etc. Well I experienced it firsthand today. Twice they have knocked back doing any warranty work on my Ford Ranger, the first time I called another Ford dealer to carry-out the warranty work and they refused because they were tired of taking on Arnold Clark's warranty because they can't be bother doing warranty work. I would never recommend Arnold Clark and I won't use them again. Basically they are to big and don't care about the customer.

Never ever buy a vehicle here or let them touch your car in anyway. Absolutely disgusting service that led to me selling my 18 plate ranger and put me off Ford for life. Damaged my car while in there care, agreed to fix the damage then denied it at the very end. Terry and the head manager are simple disgusting and should not be in the motor trade. From reading all the other reviews I guess I am not the only one who will never go near these cowboys again. Go to Banchory car centre, top notch service!!

STAY AWAY! I needed a new engine for my Ranger 3.2l. I could not get passed the (very rude) receptionist to get an estimate. She refused to give any estimate unless I recovered the car to them and paid min 120, and were then trapped with them. Eventually I spoke to Customer relations in London, they spoke to her and, funny enough, they could give an estimate. I could not bare giving them my truck, I recovered it to AM Phillip in Forfar who were brilliant! 5 Stars for them.

Very poor service all round. There is a lack of organisation and communication within the people who work there and with the customer. I had to use the Girdleness branch as it was a recall by Ford. Several appointments were made and then cancelled by them. One occasion I arrived to be told they did not have the parts needed in stock. I had to continually phone and chase up what was happening regarding my vehicle. The manager does not return calls. Once my vehicle was in and I was assured everything was in place to complete the job. I had to phone 2 days later to ask what was happening to be told there was a delay. No explanation or apology, I finally collected my car today after 8 days! There were dirty footprints and handmarks inside the car and 2 interior lights are now not working. If you have a choice I would avoid using them at all costs.
