Not too happy with my trip to this garage. I had a coolant leak and I discovered myself where the leak was coming from so I asked them to take a look to see how much it would be to repair. The leak was coming from a small connector which goes to the thermostat housing. I dropped my car off and the staff looked like they couldnt be bothered dealing with me. I explained to receptionist I knew where leak was coming from and I wanted a quote to fix it. Car was in garage for 3 hours and I get a cal telling me its going to cost 194 to repair. I told them I would pick the car up and think about it. So went to collect my car and they showed me a video of where the leak was coming from which was exactly where I had told them it was. I am then presented with an invoice for 75 for diagnosis . Was absolutely baffled as explained I knew and had told them where the leak was coming from and I just wanted a quote to repair it. I bought the required connector myself from Vauxhall for 12 and had a friend of a friend fit it for me which took all of 20 minutes and cost me 20. Not a great experience and il never be back. Staff were rude and Obviously garages mark up the price of parts to make a profit but then theres just taking the mick out of your customers. All in all I paid 75 for them to diagnose and try and charge me even more to repair it.

I just witnessed how to get car that is ,,kind of fixed", not checked if ready and how to almost break down on busy road before even getting to destination ....
