Lovely place. Really nice lodge, cosy and warm. So quiet and such a tranquil place and if you are lucky to get a clear night,as we were, the view of the, stars whilst sat on the balcony are just something else!!. Very clean and well maintained site, very impressed. Did not eat in the Beagle restaurant but they do take aways, which we made use of, and the food was really nice. Pool was clean and really enjoyed the booking system so the pool is yours for an hour. Great On check in, the lady on reception just lovely and friendly. All staff we encountered were brilliant. !! Will be booking again for sure.

Nearby activities: Bainloch Deer Park is a must visit attraction and the caf bistro is wonderfully placed to watch the deer and enjoy the wonderful views. Homemade food and service are delightful. Walkability: Beautiful walks around the lake, coastal and hill walks. Food & drinks: We arrived without booking a table, and on Mother's Day. The service and food were exceptional. Free prosecco and chocolates for the mothers too. An impromptu visit turned into a wonderful evening. Also the pub quiz was great fun.
