Welcome by the staff was nice, and the location of the dining room overlooking the water was stunning. The table was sticky which wasnt pleasant. Thought my starter of muscles was ok, but nowhere to put the shells. It took a fair amount of time to arrive. The same could be said for the mains to. Had to ask for cutlery. My chips we cold and quite greasy. The fish batter was crispy but then the oiliness became prevalent and as such the fish was overcooked and dry. Think my friend had a good burger, but the rest of the party were far from completely about the food.
The waiting staff were young and I really wanted them to do wellbut the basics seemed to be lacking. It felt as if this was their first day. I thought training could be so much better, and shown hospitality skills.
I was looking forward to some top notch food to match the locationit was so disappointing. It was more of a shame that we were planning a really good night out and had driven 30 mins each way and were planning to spend the night until closing time. I wouldnt return when in the area again - shame.
