Genuinely believe the other reviews must be fake. This is just a glorified hostel, of which I've stayed in many and would take any of those over this. I collected the key and enquired about the advertised electric car charging they boast about on their website to which I was told they don't actually have any. I continued up to the room and on opening was hit by the smell. I initially thought it was the drains, unfortunately it wasn't. I decided to try out the beds and after being stabbed by every single spring, the smell got stronger. On further investigation I discovered the source, a mix of urine and black mould on both sides of both the mattresses. The second thing I was hit by when entering the room was just how cold it was. One thing comes to mind when you think of the North Coast and that's wind and rain. After a day stuck in that, you want the ability to come back and get warmed up and dry your clothes overnight. Not possible as radiators stone cold and no control. I went straight back to 'reception' (I use this term very loosely) and informed them. A simple 'oh'. I gave them back the key and said I'd just go home and just told 'ok'. I left never to be back. Also to note, not even a kettle in the rooms and no availability of food or drink on site. It has tipped a 10 a night Easy Hotel as my worst experience.
