Spiritual place, steeped in history. The ancient ogham written alphabet is fascinating. We'll worth a tattoo.

Its really grand to have an ogham stone up here in the north and is definitely worth a visit to see it. However, it is located in the middle of a farmers field and is not upgraded for tourists like other ancient sites. You have to walk through the muddy soft field to get there, much like ancient times. There is no charge and you dont need permission. But, sometimes there are cattle or sheep in the field. There is no charge. If you go to the south gate, theres a stile you can go through. The north gate is rusted shut and you have to climb over. The north standing stone is much larger and worth the walk. But, there are no ogham on it. The ogham stone has a marker with information nearby and you can see the ruins of the old cottage. There was a tree blown over crashed into the side on our visit. As always, be respectful of the ancient monuments and remember it is best never to touch the stone ogham, markings, or glyphs with your bare hands because of oils and preservation.

Stone is interesting. Path down is mucky and there's cows in the field.

(Translated by Google) The stone is located in a field where cows graze. Small detour from the main road, interesting history and beautiful landscape. (Original) La pietra si trova in un campo dove pascolano le mucche. Piccola deviazione dalla strada principale, storia interessante e bel paesaggio.
