Northland Developments

Just.purchased home from Northland . Our first new build. We are absolutely delighted so far with the quality of everything within the house. The site foreman and his team have been friendly and accommodating. Aveen was amazing in the communicating with us and got our house ready with fairly short notice. So far have nothing to complain about and we are loving living here Would definitely recommend this company Thankyou to Aveen Cahal and team.

NOT EVEN DESERVING OF ONE STAR This our fourth new built house. I cant say by far the worst because the other three were well built. Nearly every room has cracks with kitchen, dinning, family and hall with plastering hanging off the wall. We have several long vertical, horizontal and stepped cracks. We paid extra to have our bathroom tiled and now these are starting to crack. Weve had along with a neighbour a leak in the sunroom area with it even making it down the side wall. We had to get front door replaced due to carelessness, tried to avoid this by painting it 5/6 times. Bricks had to be replaced due to carelessness. Gas boiler didnt work initially on the day of handover. NHBC have had to get involved although they arent much use but you need to jump this hoop according to my Solicitor before the next stage. So if youre think of buying a house and especially those who are first time buyers with a mortgage and limited finance. Dont spare the heartache and stress on your relationship and look elsewhere. If you dont believe me go and knock a few doors and ask a few residents. The beauty about this is there is nothing Northlands can do because its all true. House is a year old and already making plans to move.

I purchased a property from Northland Developments in 2019, there have now been 3 occasions where I have met up with the site foreman and the building manager where a list was compiled within the contracted 2 year warranty period. Not once have I had a repair completed within my property still to this date after speaking with one of the company directors on 2 occasions that made false promises of repair. If I could rewind back and know what I know now I would not and never will again purchase a property of Northland Developments at all very disappointed with the service which is a shame as this is a family run business I thought they would have taken more pride with their customer service.

Advice to anyone who wants to buy a Northland home, dont waste your time.
