Pete attended out property last week and we cannot recommend him enough, his work is outstanding. He was extremely informative and his attention to detail is impeccable. I would highly recommend anyone buying a new build home to use this service. His report included a very serious issue that we would never have across and we have been living at our property for over a year. His report has given us peace of mind and contained detailed and easy to understand photographs and comments regarding all the issues. He went above and beyond that day even waiting on us to arrive home to explain the issue in detail. Our builder has already been in to start to rectify the issues so thanks again Pete we can't thank you enough.

Pete completed a survey of my home a few months ago (apologies for the late review). Pete was extremely professional throughout the survey and went above and beyond to ensure the many issues he identified within my new build were detailed in a way that I could understand. He was on hand for any support or questions I had, even months after he completed the survey (yes it took me months to get the issues resolved with the builder/Developer as they happily take your money and once your in they don't seem to want to know.) This is why I highly recommend getting a snagging survey carried out by Pete as many of the issues identified, I would never have picked up on myself. I will definitely use Pete when I purchase my next home and with the changes coming into place, I am so happy that I will be able to have this done before handover. It is excellent value for money and also for your own peace of mind to ensure your home is built to the standard that you expect of a new build. Thanks again Pete for your expertise and I look forward to using your services in the future.

I moved back here to Norn Iron from Wiltshire with my wife at the end of 2021 after more than 50 years away. We decided since this was our last house move to buy a new place on the Co Down coast. This was the first new-build we had owned. After we moved in I noticed quite a few problems with the quality so, since Im an amateur in the building trade, I thought it best to find someone professionally qualified to take a wee look. Online I went and quickly established that Snagging Inspectors seem pretty thin on the ground! Thankfully I did find Peter Cole. We made the arrangements and he duly arrived and started to carry out his inspection just after 0900. 12 hours later he was finishing up!! Comprehensive is definitely the word. Our developer - who had been remarkably non-interested - has been encouraged into a tight corner largely due to the more than 100 faults identified in Peters report. One group of faults in particular were very important since fire safety was involved. Said builder will be starting work very soon now to put right all those things which were badly done in the first place. I cannot recommend Peter Cole highly enough. If you buy a new-build house and find even the smallest problem then I suggest you get him on the case. Having good information from someone not just amazingly well-qualified but experienced too will be money very well spent because it could potentially save you several thousand pounds a bit further on. Bonus too - Peter is a really nice guy!!

After buying a new house, its natural to want to avoid further costs, by inspecting it yourself for any issues and youll probably spot various things. The risk is missing something important that you lack the knowledge to even realise is an issue. Pete has extensive knowledge and experience which can bring you peace of mind, an independent sounding board for any questions, as well as guidance as to what is/isnt acceptable standards of finish. In our case, Pete identified lots of things, including an important issue with how loft insulation was installed, which in the long run had the potential to cost many times more than the snagging survey itself. Beyond the value of the survey itself, Pete is great to work with - works tidily and diligently while inspecting your home, with very sharp attention to detail, then takes the time to explain things hes noticed on the day, and exceptionally responsive communication afterwards. Any issues/questions about the report, Petes more than happy to answer and is always quick to respond. If you are inexperienced regarding all the many different components of constructing a new home, Id really recommend Petes surveys.
