Smart Dental Care - Northcott Dental Centre

I registered with this dentist recently - one month ago (Nov 2019). I had a specific problem and also wanted a check-up because I am on a long motorcycle trip through Africa and the Middle East. Having explained my problem, I had an x-ray, a bit of cleaning and a couple of superficial fillings. Now, one month later, as problems continue, I have been informed, as I thought, that I have an abscess and a tooth must come out. The treatment provided was clearly inadequate and, arguably, was actually negligent. The situation mirrors that of previous reviewer; place was empty, so there was no pressure to treat others. My advice is to avoid this surgery, which clearly is inadequately supervised.

Recently registered with this dentist for pain relief treatment. Attended for initial appointment and 1/2 hour appointment the following week - been in horrific pain but accepted my own fault as Id not attended dentist regularly so accepted the week wait for another appointment. Arrived 9 minutes late due to broken down lorry and dentist refused to do the work on my tooth as agreed -said there wasnt enough time. His manner was arrogant, rude and downright disrespectful! He proceeded to do work on another tooth which I did not consent to nor had I been advised of the cost. I was out, finished with still 10 minutes of my appointment left, no other persons waiting, no other persons arrived in the next 15 minutes. So I was sent away still suffering, dentist aware I had been up all night in serious pain and actually in tears at the pain and not another patient in sight! Would not recommend this dentist - the admin staff was pleasant, the dental assistant never acknowledged me or spoke to me. Not a pleasant experience at all!

Have to praise northcott dentist . They fitted me in today and only phoned this morning. As usual I was a nervous wreck and learned a bit lesson don't fill your own teeth with temp fillings. Thanx again such a relief after 2 nights of pain xx
