        What a place!! We descended on Hilltown, 20 strong for a family wedding and Macs Bar couldnt have been more welcoming!! Such a friendly place, by far the best place to be in Hilltown!!! Thank you so much for your hospitality

        Our family (around 20 of us) recently attended our cousin's wedding in the local area. The people who ran Mac's Bar, which we went in a few times over the weekend were extremely welcoming! They gave us a few lifts to save getting taxis (hard to get in a small village) and wouldn't accept any money. On our last night, they also bought us a Chinese meal, gave us some drinks out of their own pocket (including Prosecco) and 'cause the off licence was shut, gave us take out at the prices they pay for it! Well worth the plane journeys from all over England for perfect hospitality, a good range of drinks, pool table, juke box and outside area! Excellent pub! Excellent people!
