Been there when I was younger - sadly I'm old enough to remember the Library when it was in Ansley Mansion - and before that our family Library was on the Ormeau Rd. just before the bridge. It was my favourite place on a rainy day in Belfast, 2nd only to the Ulster Museum!
But when Newcastle Library moved to its present setting, well the pleasant, light feel and the wonderful views made it my new favourite place.
It remains a favourite today with our children and now their children and its modern take on what a Library should be creates a wonderful environment for reading, studying and learning.
