Gillaroo Lodge Private Nursing Home

Myself and family cannot thank Gillaroo enough for the care and attention they gave our dear mum who passed away on the 29th November. Our mum was in 2 other care homes before we found Gillaroo. We can honestly say from the moment mum move there was the first time we all could stop worrying about her. Their care is second to none. The big difference here was it feels like a real home rather than an impersonal place to be in the last years of years of your life. The home is spotless and all home made food from scratch. The staff are welcoming and friendly. Mum was looked after and cared for beautifully. We cant thank Gillaroo enough. All care homes should be like this. The biggest difference here is that it Is A HOME for the residents. God bless you all.

Just wanted to say a huge thank-you to Liz and all the staff involved in making Auntie Joan's 90th Birthday so special for her to- day, especially in these challenging times. We didn't think that we would have been able to see her so it was fantastic to have a 'porch visit' set up for us. It made my day to see the smile on her face when she saw us all and what a lovely surprise to have tea and delicious birthday cake with her albeit with a screen in between! I fully expect to turn on the TV some day and see Jenny on The Great British Bake Off! Keep up the good work - you are all exceptional. Thank you again.

Its such a worrying time when a loved one has to go to a nursing home but we neednt have worried as the care and attention Mother receives at Gillaroo is second to none. The staff are so caring and make you feel like one big family when visiting. The food is all made from scratch in house, even the buns and cakes. We cannot praise Gillaroo and all their wonderful staff highly enough for everything they do for Mother.

My Mother is in Gillaroo...We as a family can relax knowing our Mum is 100% cared for.. She's always spotless.and finishing touches to her outfits everyday is a necklace or a brooch or a neckscarf... We are always made very welcome and it's a pleasure going into Gillaroo.. Food is amazing and all homemade by Jenny.. On Sunday past we had afternoon tea in the conservatory as a family..The table was laid with China teapot and cups...A beautiful spread was laid out..Jenny couldn't do enough.. Gillaroo is always spotlessly clean and Mums clothes and wardrobe are always immaculate.. Definitely Gillaroo is a No.1 Care Home Thankyou to Gillaroo and all the Staff for the great work

The care and attention shown to my mum has been exemplary diverse with great compassion and respect. The facility is in an excellent condition and the management and administration maintain exceptionally high standards of excellence. The key praise must be given to the nursing and care team, to whom the greatest compliment I can give, is that they are like family to us and my mother. The kitchen staff are amazing serving up excellent culinary delights on a daily basis. I would have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending Gillaroo Lodge.
