Manager with Poor Customer Relations skills and not suited to working with members of the public, who made me feel intimidated and treated me like an old woman with no concept of modern day life. I felt very vulnerable and upset that a woman (or man) in her sixties can be treated in this way. She refused to give me a cash withdrawal, with no obvious reason, even though I had two proofs of ID in accordance with Policy and she clearly knew who I was (an email had been sent to her telling her that I would be calling in for my withdrawal). I wanted to make sure this transaction ran smoothly and that is why I went to the trouble of arranging my visit with Customer Services. Customer services at Halifax were very supportive! The other staff members at the branch are amazing. I have two accounts with the Halifax (Instant Saver and ISA) and have banked with them for many years. Its sad to see this attitude from a bank manager in a tiny little town like Larne. I left this bank feeling like I had been bullied and belittled. It upset me more than words can say.
