I've been coming here every week and buying something every time, including donating items. Occasionally I will bring my dog in and never had a problem. This is a neighbourhood where you can bring your dog even into the Tesco. The world is changing that way. There's a lot of anxiety in people need emotional support animals. When I went in today I was turned away in a loud way when I was about to buy something and it was embarrassing. It's as if they had never met me before. The sign says they allow support animals which mine is but he doesn't wear a vest because people ask intrusive questions when they see it. The tense old woman didn't even bother to ask if he was and asked me to leave. It's a shame because I really liked that place but I will never go back. My dog was not bothering anyone or touching anything so she clearly just doesn't like animals. Other staff members have played with him. I can understand if this what is a high-end designer shop or a restaurant with a health coffee restriction but this is a charity shop. I could understand if my dog was disruptive but if they allow some dogs then it doesn't make sense. While some people who don't like dogs will disagree I don't really care. I have to put up with people's loud and messy kids in these places and I don't say a word. I have kids myself and it's part of living in society that people need to be tolerant.
