Absolutely amazing. The house and grounds worked brilliantly for us. We are a family of 2 adults and 6 kids ranging from 17 to a 1 year old in a cot and we went to Curran View for 10 days in July. Robert and Pam had everything including a cot, high chair and stair gate. We brought all our food with as we are all on a Kosher diet and Robert had arranged a large freezer for us too. Robert and Pam live right nearby, ready to help if necessary but we didnt see them at all, and you really have privacy. The pictures on the website do not do justice to the property as most of the rooms are not photographed. There is a very large lounge as well as a sun lounge, a table with 8 chairs in the kitchen, and another dining room which we used as a study. The kitchen is as nice as the pictures, and includes everything you may need, pots pans tin openers cutlery etc. etc. etc. Microwave, oven, toaster. You name it. It will probably have everything youre used to from home. The 4 bedrooms are spacious and roomy, and there are bedspreads and duvets and plentiful cushions throughout. There is tons of space in and out, and the tranquility and scenery all add to the overall feeling of serenity. The area is quiet and scenic, and we were lucky to have the cows in the neighbouring field every morning when we woke. Its about 1 hour to a real beach, but there are bays around the lough locally. Its worth booking a tour to Marble Arch caves as far in advance as possible as it fills up fast. We had a nice surprise at Rossnowlagh beach as we could actually drive onto the sand right up to the waves. There are loads of walks in the area, and the Geopark which is a little further out is well worth it. We spent 1 day kayaking around Enniskillen with boats we hired from the jetty by the shopping centre. Tesco delivered on the day we arrived so we didnt need any local shopping. All in all, it was a fantastic break, staying in a stunning house, with the most helpful and amenable hosts. Wed love to come back.
