    Beautiful views and a lovely hilly walk. Can be quite mucky and slippy on the steep hills, especially if there has been rain, just be prepared lovely monument and grounds.

    Muddy walk up hill, great at the top but no reason there cant be a pebble/gravel path up,very muddy and sloppy on the wrong day,not safe for older pilgrims

    Very nice views on a clear day of Strangford Lough and the County Down countryside. Good mobility is required because of the steep climb up to the statue. The path upwards is not paved and consists of grass, earth / stone paths. Unfortunately there is no information board at the summit to show the various landmarks visible from the location. There are no toilets. Free car parking for quite a few vehicles is available at the start of the hill. Sadly some people have discarded dog waste bags around the site. Overall it is worthwhile visiting if you are visiting the area and have good mobility and fitness.

    Wonderful place. Large park area with lots to see. Very hilly, so not for everyone. No smooth paths, grass and dirt paths only. Worth the walk up to the top just for the beautiful views over the countryside and Strangford Lough
